The B.I.G. Training Cartridgeis an integral part of the training leg. The cartridge houses a colored foam block which simulates the penetration site (tibial tuberosity). The white foam acts as the bone marrow.

There are several training aids available to ensure proper technique when using the B.I.G.
Medics and practitioners are initially trained using a simulation training leg, which houses a cartridge to mark the accurate penetration site of the tibial tuberosity. The cartridge is comparable to the density and texture of actual bone marrow and is located under a sheath of latex which acts as the skin on the training leg.
The Demo Training Kits are available for pediatric and adult models. These kits are complete with a non-sterile training B.I.G. as well as informational cd and booklet. The demo training kit can be used in conjunction with the training leg or the provided training block, and is highly effective in allowing students to successfully master the technique of utilizing the B.I.G.
The B.I.G. BAG provides customers an option to organize Adult and Pediatric devices with a fast and easily identifiable supply bag. This bag is perfect for crash carts and jump bags.
The Reloading Device allows quick reloading of the non-sterile training B.I.G.s for training purposes.
